Laurel & Hardy II The greatest comedy team of all time is back! Two classic full-length films... all digitally remastered! "Way Out West" (1937) - While trying to deliver the deed for a valuable gold mine to the daughter of a dead prospector, Stan and Ollie run into her evil guardian, who wants to keep the gold mine for himself. One of Laurel & Hardy's funniest full-length feature films and their only western spoof! "Block-Heads" (1938) - Stan and Ollie are first seen as soldiers with the AEF in France in 1917. Stan receives orders to stay in the trench and guard his post while the rest of the company makes a sweeping attack, Time passes - indeed 20 years go by and Stan is seen still faithful to his charge. Stan is finally told that the war is over; he returns home and is reunited with Ollie. It is immediately evident that Stan has not changed, and hi is still as big a "blockhead" as he used to be. "Chickens Come Home" (1931) - Ollie, running for mayor, is blackmailed by an old flame. Ollie agrees to meet both his old girlfriend and his wife at the same time. Stan gets caught in the middle and unbridled commotion results.
Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels (Full Frame) In 1961, Stan Lee teamed with artist Jack Kirby to create the humanly flawed super-hero team "The Fantastic Four", changing the face of comic books forever. Stan and Jack followed up by going on a creative rampage, introducing mega-franchise characters like "The Incredible Hulk", "The Mighty Thor" and "The Uncanny X-Men". Then in 1964, Stan teamed with artist Steve Ditko to create a teenage super hero, who had real teenager problems - a hero who would lose as much as he would win. "The Amazing Spider-Man" soon became, and would remain, the most popular comic book character in the world. Finally, Hollywood has caught up with the imagination of Stan his mighty "Marvel" creative collaborators to bring their incredible characters to the big screen in true blockbuster fashion. Here, presented on two complete features, enhanced by rare photos and hundreds of iconic images, Stan Lee talks in-depth with filmmaker Kevin Smith about his role in creating our modern mythology.
